About DOME

The Desire2Learn Organization Management Environment (DOME) is used to manage organizational structures and set system level configurations. The DOME is typically made available to senior system administrators responsible for setting up and customizing Desire2Learn products for an organization or group of organizations on the same instance. The following list highlights the main administrative areas in the DOME tool.

The DOME is similar to Windows Explorer. It is hierarchy-based, and uses root, folder, and sub-folder organization.

The main DOME display lists top-level links that expand to show items farther down in the hierarchy. Depending on your permissions you might not see all of the links.

Access the DOME

Click DOME in the Admin Tools widget or from the Admin Tools menu on the minibar.
