About User Management

The Users tool enables you to:

• Create and manage users and user collections.
• Enroll/unenroll users.
• Contact users using the Email or Pager tools.
• Impersonate users.
• Deactivate or reactivate users.
• Unlock user accounts.
• View user and role statistics.

You can create and manage users with the Bulk User Management tool. You can also import multiple users using SIS integration at the beginning of the Desire2Learn integration process. Contact your organization's account manager if you need more information about SIS integration.

You can also create individual users through an org unit's Classlist tool (if you have the appropriate permissions) or allow users to self register in the system through the Self Registration tool.

Access the User Management tool

Click Users from the Admin Tools menu on the minibar.
